The publicity surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI) has by now reached staggering proportions. How are Christians to respond to AI? Are we to regard it positively or negatively, or as a mixture?

Our purpose in this course is to answer these questions. AI takes different forms, and we begin by examining the range of ways in which AI is encountered.

Then, we move on to the heart of the matter: are we looking at an unprecedented revolution in our ideas of what it is to be human? Finally, we take a broad look at global, especially Western, civilisation, and try to understand what has been happening on the large scale
