Course Dates: Tuesday 20th January – Tuesday 17th February 2026 (No class 10th February)
We will be exploring:
In this course, we will explore the following within a Christian context:-
- The five steps to wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give.
- How can I recognise the signs of stress and what should I do about it?
- How might my relationship with my phone and digital devices impact my wellbeing?
The course will be informative and evidence based; practical guidance will be offered as well as some space for self-reflection.
About the speaker/s:
Dr Deborah Webster is a researcher, trainer, consultant, author and conference speaker with expertise is in the areas of wellbeing and safeguarding. She is an advocate for wellbeing, regularly writing, speaking and coaching groups in how to look after all aspects of their wellbeing.Â
Deborah is the founder of Thrive Academy, a social enterprise set up with the aim of equipping parents, educating young people, and informing those who work with them in the area of digital wellbeing and resilience. Her own PhD research explores the relationship between social media and the wellbeing of young people.Â
Deborah lives in Craigavon with her husband and two teenagers and is an active member of her local congregation.Â
