He studied theology at Queen’s University Belfast and the Irish Baptist College. He lives in Portadown\, Northern Ireland\, with his wife\, Barbara and their two adult children\, Lydia and Noah. Jesus himself throughout his ministry was often found in a quiet place with his Father which was an essential life-giving time. \n \nAs Christians we are easily caught up in a whirlwind of busy pursuit\, often in some form of service. But like Mary we need to sit at the feet of Jesus in unhurried attentiveness that we might gain his perspective again on how to live in this challenging world. \n \nDate and time: Friday 17th October 2025\, 10am to 12.30pm\, price £35\n \nAbout the speaker/s: \nRoz Stirling is the founder of this ministry and a retreat leader who guides these days of refection and prayer.

DESCRIPTION:Contact Us\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n God Behaving Badly in Genesis?Date: January 20\, 2026 - February 10\, 2026Time: 7:00 pm - 8:45 pmVenue: OnlineTaught By: Dr William Ford\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Course Content\n \n \n \n \n \n Course Duration: 3 Weeks \nCourse Dates: Tuesday 29th April\, 6th May and 13th May \nWe will be exploring: \n\nArtificial Intelligence: Friend or Foe?\n1. What is happening out there?\n2. Humanity under threat?\n3. How did we get here?\nThe publicity surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI) has by now reached staggering proportions. How are Christians to respond to AI? Are we to regard it positively or negatively\, or as a mixture?\nOur purpose in this course is to answer these questions. AI takes different forms\, and we begin by examining the range of ways in which AI is encountered.\nThen\, we move on to the heart of the matter: are we looking at an unprecedented revolution in our ideas of what it is to be human? Finally\, we take a broad look at global\, especially Western\, civilisation\, and try to understand what has been happening on the large scale\n\n

SUMMARY:Bible teaching Course - Philippians

But more than that\, Paul is doing something quite remarkable: he is “remapping the Philippians’ universe.” \nPaul was in dire circumstances in a Roman jail. The Philippians had always been supportive of Paul and had sent Epaphroditus to take him something to meet his needs. \nThings were tough for the Philippians too. Like most of the people in the Empire\, they lived in poverty or just about getting by. They faced opposition from suspicious. \nBut something in the world has changed. Roman jails and ill-tempered neighbours and hard times are not the last word. Paul wants the Philippians to know that the current trials are not the last word\, and that love\, peace and joy are possible because of Christ’s Lordship over everything. \nWeek 1: Remapping the World & Its Power Structures \nWeek 2: Remapping our Idea of God \nWeek 3: Remapping our Thinking \nWeek 4 Love\, Joy\, Peace  \n\n \n
